- I will successfully reformat the e-newsletter website components to aim for more donations and ensure the longevity of the Ocean Center
- I will conduct outside research on nonprofit donor newsletters
- I will successfully write 3 - 5 newsletters by the end of summer
- I will help construct surveys and expand their local networking system through traditional marketing tactics and event planning (hopefully one event)
- I will help reformat some website features that includes more engaging writing, surveys, and formatting (including mobile formats)
I spent a lot of time researching nonprofits and signed up for many newsletters so I could gain a better understanding of nonprofit donor strategies through the written word. My biggest accomplishment in the marketing goal has been creating new website components when visitors to our site decide to sign up for our e-newsletters. I also created ideas for a more obvious "call to action" statement with a more engaging "welcome letter" sign up. Please see my research and welcome letter draft below. This has yet to be approved by the founder.
